If you have been collecting watches for a while I think you’re going to appreciate this NOBLE DESIGN REGULATEUR watch made by “Longines Watch Co.” with TWO separate dials, GOLD PLATED CASE and HIGH GRADE original pocket watch QUALITY ENGRAVED & SKELETONIZED mechanism.

This timepiece features a handsome BLACK & GOLD dial in excellent condition, absolutely no chips of abuse. It is featuring a 60 minute checkered outer track border, gold steel skeleton minute hand with luminous fill and TWO separate dials: a recessed sub-seconds dial with “sweep” gold steel seconds hand and 60 second outer chapter and another sub-hour dial with “sweep” gold steel skeleton hours hand with luminous fill and gold Roman numerals. The new dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. There are signed LONGINES and further signed REGULATEUR at the base of the dial.

It is a registered design model that features a three piece GOLD PLATED case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. GOLD PLATED case, new custom made, fantastic, build specially for this excellent Longines movement. The lugs are in great condition while the Pumpkin-style winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side. The case is decorated with HIGH QUALITY ENGRAVING.

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find a clean manual wind and high grade gold-plated QUALITY ENGRAVED & SKELETONIZED mechanism.

The movement is signed LONGINES and is stamped Original LONGINES logo, featuring the winged Hourglass on the balance bridge. Also is signed the movement serial number #2,156,153. This serial number dates this watch to 1908 as per published production numbers.

This beautiful wristwatch has the ORIGINAL LONGINES movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament. The bridges have in addition to extensive skeletonization have been gorgeously engraved as well.

Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.

This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it!

It is fitted on a new 20mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with golden Stainless steel buckle that is vintage style and goes great with this wonderful watch.

Diameter (with crown):       52.00 mm
Diameter (without crown): 47.00 mm
Watch crystal diameter:     41.00 mm
Thickness:                         12.00 mm

This very fine watch winds and sets very smoothly while keeping very good, accurate time.

Because of the vintage nature of the watch I cannot guarantee its absolute time keeping accuracy even if they are in good running condition and in some rare occasions may require additional adjustment.
