Vintage Mens Wrist Watch Gold Regulateur Men's Wristwatch Zenith Movement

I proudly offer for sale this REGULATEUR timepiece example a CUSTOMIZED WATCH with FRIGATE and TWO separate dials, GOLD PLATED CASE, QUALITY ENGRAVED & SKELETONIZED original pocket watch movement with SNAIL (CLAMSHELL) MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING made by WANDOLEC ART STUDIO especially for “ZENITH” movement.

This timepiece features a handsome GOLD steel dial in excellent condition, absolutely no chips of abuse.

It is featuring a 60 minute checkered outer track border with red enamel five minute Arabic numerals, black main Arabic numerals, original blue steel Cathedral-style hands and two separate dials: a recessed sub-seconds dial with “sweep” steel seconds hand and red Arabic numbering and sub-hour dial (London Time) with “sweep” original blue steel hour’s hand and black Roman numerals. The new dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. Signed ZENITH in black enameled letters near the 3 and further signed REGULATEUR. There is decorated with the FRIGATE at the center of the dials.

It is a registered design model that features a three piece GOLD PLATED case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. GOLD PLATED case, new custom made, fantastic, build specially for this excellent ZENITH movement. The lugs are in great condition while the Pumpkin-style winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side. The case is decorated HIGH QUALITY ENGRAVING.

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find a clean gold plated QUALITY ENGRAVED & SKELETONIZED manual wind movement with SNAIL (CLAMSHELL) MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING that is signed ZENITH. Also is signed the movement serial number #2,406,956. This serial number dates this watch to 1920 as per published production numbers.

This beautiful wristwatch has the ORIGINAL ZENITH movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament. The bridges have in addition to extensive skeletonization have been gorgeously engraved as well.

Vintage watches may contain replacement parts that are not from the original manufacturer if the original manufacturer no longer makes that part.

Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.

This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it!

It is fitted on a new Handmade of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO 22mm brown alligator style genuine leather strap with gold steel buckle that has a great vintage look to it.

This very fine watch winds and sets very smoothly while keeping very good, accurate time.
