Vintage Mens Wrist Watch with Stones Men's Wristwatch with Norse Engraved and Terasse Swiss Movement 1910

Terasse Watch Co – watches, watch parts from Le Locle, Switzerland was registered on August 25, 1916. 

This gorgeous, men’s watch dial is a very handsome specimen and features a big WHITE CRYSTAL for hour markers, black steel Breguet-style hands and a recessed sub-seconds “sweep” black steel hand. The new dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. The dial is decorated with NORSE ORNAMENT with BLUE ZIRCONS. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece CHROMED BRASS CASE that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The CHROMED BRASS case, new custom made, fantastic, build specially for this excellent movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front & back side. The case is decorated with HIGH QUALITY HANDMADE ENGRAVING with BLUE STONES.

This beautiful wristwatch has the Original magic GOLD FILLED movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by our craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament. The bridges have been gorgeously engraved as well. 

On the front side of the movement, you can see the HIGHEST QUALITY NORSE ENGRAVING. Also is signed the movement serial number #231.337. 

On back side you can see HIGHEST QUALITY NORSE ENGRAVING mechanism with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, THREE FINGER BRIDGE, RAISED & SCREWED THREEFOLD in GOLD CENTER JEWEL CHATON, SWAN NECK MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. The movement that is not signed with any markings but is most definitely Terasse Watch Co Swiss in origin. 

To enhance the power coming through the train, the center wheel is provided with a chaton jewel, which is mounted in gold and is screwed threefold. Only jeweled holes minimize reliably the friction due to enormous driving power of the mainspring and consequently the going barrel. The screwed chaton allows the precise adjustment of the wheel and the quick change of the bearing jewel if necessary. The further wheel arbors are protected by jewels. 

Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time, but vintage watches may contain replacement parts that are not from the original manufacturer if the original manufacturer no longer makes that part.

You can see from any direction the internal mechanics working as the balance wheel spins. They make an elegant statement on the wrist. Watch aficionados and laymen alike when they see a high quality skeletonized watch recognize its beauty. 

This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it! 

It is fitted on a new 24mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with chrome steel buckle that is vintage style and goes great with this wonderful watch.
