Vintage Men's Wrist Watch Skeleton with Stones Mens Wristwatch Regulateur Borel Movement 1910

Offering this REGULATEUR beautiful amazing large skeletonized dress example of a men’s a CUSTOMIZED WATCH which decorated with the HIGHEST QUALITY ENGRAVING and BLUE & WHITE STONES was made WANDOLEC ART STUDIO based on original pocket watch movement from Borel & Fils. 

The firm founded in 1859 and with a proud history. Borel was one of a handful of Swiss watch makers (that includes Charles Tissot, Henry Moser and Paul Buhre) that found early success in the world market, especially the Russian Empire. In 1866 (just 7 years after its formation) a Borel chronometer won the Neuchâtel observatory contest. They would win this prestigious contest again in 1870, 1875, 1876 and 1890. Fast forward into the 20th century and Borel was the 2nd largest producer of certified chronometers in the world, as late as 1946. 

This gorgeous, men’s watch dial is a very handsome specimen and features a 60-minute outer track border with WHITE CRYSTAL, BLUE ZIRCON for hour markers, original blue steel Breguet-style minute hand and TWO separate dials: a recessed sub-seconds dial with “sweep” original blue steel seconds hand and 60 second outer chapter and sub-hour dial with “sweep” steel hour’s hand, raised golden Roman numerals and WHITE & BLUE STONE for hour markers. The new dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. There is signed BOREL at the base of the dial. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece STAINLESS STEEL case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The STAINLESS STEEL case, new custom made, fantastic, matched specially for this wonderful Borel movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side. 

This beautiful wristwatch has the Original magic GOLD-FILLED movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament. The bridges have in addition to extensive skeletonization have been gorgeously engraved as well. 

On the front side of the movement you can see HIGHEST QUALITY ENGRAVING. 

On the back side you can see HIGHEST QUALITY ENGRAVING mechanism with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. The movement that is not signed with any markings but is most definitely Borel Swiss in origin. 

Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.

Some of the wearable parts on the movement might be replaced, and custom made to fit, since it is close to impossible to find original parts.

You can see from any direction the internal mechanics working as the balance wheel spins. They make an elegant statement on the wrist. Watch aficionados and laymen alike when they see a high quality skeletonized watch recognize its beauty.

It is fitted on a new 22mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with chrome silver buckle that is vintage style and goes great with this wonderful watch.
