If you have been collecting watches for a while I think you’re going to appreciate the following beautiful amazing large skeletonized dress a CUSTOMIZED WATCH that dates to 1894 and decorated of the HIGHEST QUALITY ENGRAVING with CALATRAVA CROSS and BLUE & WHITE STONES, that was made by WANDOLEC ART STUDIO based on the venerable PATEK PHILIPPE movement.

One could argue that the word “RARE” gets tossed around a bit too easily on eBay but I think this is one case where the moniker is well deserved. 

Patek Philippe & Co. is to watches what Rolls Royce is to cars— synonymous with the best. This prestigious Swiss watchmaking firm is arguably the most famous manufacturer of timepieces worldwide. To own a Patek Philippe watch remains a symbol of wealth and importance: kings and queens were their clients, while other watchmakers frantically copied them – imitation being the highest form of flattery, and moreover a means to a more lucrative sale with the help of the famous Patek Philippe signature. The Patek Philippe legend continues to grow and fascinate. The soaring prices achieved by Patek Philippe watches at auction—particularly within the last decade — prove to what degree these precious timepieces are sought-after by collectors. One collector paid $11,002,500 for a rare Patek Philippe pocket watch, thereby earning it a mention in the Guinness Book of World Records. 

The Patek Philippe name composed by the name of its founders Antoine Norbert de Patek (1839) and Adrien Philippe (1845), the Patek Philippe logo is the Calatrava Cross which registered on April 27, 1887. 

This gorgeous, men’s watch Dial is a very handsome specimen and features 60 minute checkered outer track border with BLUE CRYSTAL’s, WHITE STONES for hour markers, blue steel Engraved hands and “sweep” engraved steel seconds hand. The new dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. The dial is decorated with high quality applied gold steel CALATRAVA CROSS. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece YELLOW 23K GOLD-PLATED case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The case, new custom made, fantastic, build of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO specially for this wonderful Patek Philippe movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side. The case is decorated with HIGH QUALITY ENGRAVING & WHITE CRYSTALs. The winding crown is decorated with CALATRAVA CROSS. 

This beautiful wristwatch has the Original magic nickel finished movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament. The bridges have in addition to extensive skeletonization have been gorgeously engraved as well. 

On the front side of the movement, you can see the HIGHEST QUALITY ENGRAVING.

The movement has BLUE STEEL SCREWS WINDING WHEELS WITH WOLF TEETH TRANSMISSION, IMPRESSIVE LARGE BI-METALLIC BALANCE & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING.

The movement is signed PATEK, PHILIPPE & Co – GENEVE. Also it signed movement serial number #91.504. This serial number corresponds to the 1894 production date as per published records of PATEK PHILIPPE & Co.

Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.

You can see from any direction the internal mechanics working as the balance wheel spins. They make an elegant statement on the wrist. Watch aficionados and laymen alike when they see a high quality skeletonized watch recognize its beauty. 

This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it! 

It is fitted on a new Handmade from THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO 22mm red Genuine Crocodile leather strap with gold steel buckle in Patek Style that has a great vintage look to it.
