Vintage Men's Wrist Watch Mechanical Matte Steel Mens Wristwatch Systeme Glashutte Uhren Movement Germany 1899

I proudly offer for sale this CUSTOMIZED WATCH that features brand new (non GLASHUTTE) made CHROMED brass DIAL, MATT stainless steel CASE and original pocket watch movement with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, STRAIGHT LINE DAMASKEENING, FIVE RAISED & SCREWED in GOLD JEWEL SETTINGS, SCREW-FITTED END-PIECES for the ESCAPE WHEEL, SWAN NECK MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING, fully services, restored and now ready start its new life with a new owner. It was made by the WANDOLEC ART STUDIO based on movement from venerable German Watch Company of “GLASHÜTTE”. 

This timepiece features an elegant CHROMED brass dial is in excellent condition. This dial features a 60-minute outer track border, golden Arabic numbering, gold steel Louis XVI filigree hands and a recessed sub-seconds dial with 60 second outer chapter and “sweep” steel seconds hand. The dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. There are decorated with GUILLOCHE and signed SYSTEME GLASHÜTTE below the 12. 

It is a registered design model that features a MATT three piece STAINLESS STEEL case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The STAINLESS STEEL case, new custom made, fantastic, matched specially for this wonderful GLASHÜTTE movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side.

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find a spotless, a finely and high quality the manual wind nickel finished mechanism with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, STRAIGHT LINE DAMASKEENING, FIVE RAISED & SCREWED in GOLD JEWEL SETTINGS, SCREW-FITTED END-PIECES for the ESCAPE WHEEL, SWAN NECK MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. The movement maker is not marked but I hope another collector can identify the maker within the GLASHUTTE FACTORY as it is clearly higher grade. Also, under the dial is signed the movement serial number #39.670. This serial number dates this watch to 1899 as per published production numbers. 

This beautiful wristwatch has the ORIGINAL GLASHUTTE movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch.

Vintage watches may contain replacement parts that are not from the original manufacturer if the original manufacturer no longer makes that part.

Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.

This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it!

It is fitted on a new 22mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with chrome steel buckle that is vintage style and goes great with this wonderful watch.
