Vintage Men's Wristwatch Engraved & Stones Mens Wrist Watch 1930 Solvil Swiss Movement

For the collector or the admirer this beautiful amazing large skeletonized dress a CUSTOMIZED WATCH that decorated with the HIGHEST QUALITY ENGRAVING and the GOLD LION with RED STONES. It was made by the WANDOLEC ART STUDIO based on movement from “SOLVIL” in Switzerland that dates to 1930’s. 

SOLVIL – watches, clocks and cases by watch factory Fabrique d'Horlogerie Ditis & Solvil / Paul Ditisheim SA / Solvil SA from La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland; was registered on June 27, 1934. 

This gorgeous, men’s watch has a new GOLDEN brass dial is a very handsome specimen and features a RED CRYSTAL for hour markers, steel Breguet-style hands and a recessed sub-seconds “sweep” steel hand. There are decorated with golden engraved LION at the center of the dial and RED ZIRCONS around. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece GOLD PLATED – 23K CASE that provides with glass cover of back covering. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The case, new custom made, fantastic, build of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO specially for this excellent SOLVIL movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side. The case is decorated with HIGH QUALITY ENGRAVING with LIONS.

The Decoring of dial and the Engraving of case are made in the same style. 

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find a spotless and high grade, manual wind nickel finished lever escapement movement with the BLUE STEEL SCREWS, STRAIGHT LINE DAMASKEENING, TWO-PART WINDING BRIDGE, THREE FINGER BRIDGE, FOUR RAISED in GOLD JEWEL SETTINGS and SWAN NECK MICROMETER REGULATOR.

The movement is stamped SOLVIL and is signed PAUL DITISHEIM with the movement serial number #782.329.

THE BOTTOM PLATE (the dial side) of the movement has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament.

This beautiful wristwatch has the ORIGINAL SOLVIL movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch. But, some of the wearable parts on the movement might be replaced, and custom made to fit, since it is close to impossible to find original parts. Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time. 

It is fitted on a new Handmade of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO 22mm brown alligator style genuine leather strap with gold steel buckle that has a great vintage look to it.

This cleaned, oiled and regulated vintage watch winds and sets very smoothly while keeping very good, accurate time.

Because of the vintage nature of the watch I cannot guarantee its absolute time keeping accuracy even if they are in good running condition and in some rare occasions may require additional adjustment.
