Vintage Men's Wrist Watch Classic & Stones Mens Wristwatch Omega Swiss 1925 Movement

This week at auction this vintage example CUSTOMIZED WATCH of a men’s with ORIGINAL porcelain DIAL, CHROMED brass CASE with WHITE STONES and CLEAN HIGH GRADE original pocket watch MECHANISM with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, CHATON of REGULATION SCREWS in RED GOLD, BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING.

This timepiece features an ORIGINAL elegant, white, sunken PORCELAIN dial is in flawless condition, absolutely no hairlines or chips. This dial features a 60 minute outer track border, black main Arabic numbering, red 24-hour Arabic sub-numerals, gold steel Louis XVI filigree hands and a recessed sunken sub-seconds dial with 60 second outer chapter and “sweep” gold steel seconds hand. Signed OMEGA in black enameled lettering below the 12 with trademark Omega symbol above this. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece CHROMED brass case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. CHROMED case, new custom made, fantastic, builds specially for this excellent OMEGA movement. The swivel lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front & back side. The case is decorated with WHITE ZIRCONS. 

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find is a clean manual wind and higher-grade gold plated lever escapement movement with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, CHATON of REGULATION SCREWS in RED GOLD, BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. The movement is signed OMEGA with the movement serial number #6,581,622. This serial number dates this watch to 1925 as per published production numbers. The caliber number 18LPB is stamped below the balance wheel, always difficult to see! 

This beautiful wristwatch has the ORIGINAL OMEGA movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch, but some of the wearable parts on the movement might be replaced, and custom made to fit, since it is close to impossible to find original parts. Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time. 

It is fitted on a new 24mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with chrome steel buckle that is vintage style and goes great with this vintage watch.
