Vintage Men's Wrist Watch HEBDOMAS Movement Gold Skeleton Mens Wristwatch Spiral Breguet 8 Days

Exceptional watchmaking and timeless elegance for this scarce example of a men’s that dates to approx 1910’s. This beautiful amazing large skeletonized dress a CUSTOMIZED WATCH is decorated with the HIGH QUALITY ENGRAVING with the WHITE & RED STONES and the CHERUB. 

This trademark was registered to Graizley & Cie, La Chaux de Fonds. He patented the Hebdomas 8 day watch in January 1889. The tradename is still in use today with both pocket watches and wristwatches available. It was used on 8 day watches with a visible balance wheel. At first these 8 day watches were all made by hand. Hebdomas watches won gold medals in Chacago 1892, Geneva 1896, Paris 1900, Milan 1906 and Brussels 1910. In 1915, the patent and tradename was transferred to Schild & Cie, the new name for the Graizely & Cie company. 

This gorgeous, men’s watch Dial is a very handsome specimen and features an outer track border with WHITE CRYSTALS, BIGGER RED ZIRCON for Hour Markers and steel Sword-Style hands.

The dial has an engraved bridge with VISIBLE BALANCE and a REGULATOR with Red Ruby.

There is decorated with CHERUB and WHITE STONES (ZIRCON). 

It is a registered design model that features a brass three piece GOLD PLATED – 23K case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. GOLD PLATED – 23K case, new custom made, fantastic, builds of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO specially for this excellent HEBDOMAS movement. The lugs are in great condition while the engraved winding crown with CHERUB is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front & back side. The case is decorated HIGH QUALITY ENGRAVING with CHERUB. The case is signed HEBDOMAS on the lateral bezel. 

The new GOLD PLATED dial and the new GOLD PLATED case are decorated with the CHERUB and are made in the same style. 

This beautiful wristwatch has the Original movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament. The bridges have in addition to extensive skeletonization have been gorgeously engraved as well. 

The watch is HEBDOMAS and is a genuine Hebdomas type patent 8 day pocket watch, with the same set up as a Hebdomas with a massive 8 day mainspring. 

On the front side of the movement you can see the HIGHEST QUALITY ENGRAVING with WHITE CRYSTALS.

On back side of the movement you can see that the movement is completely covered by its gilt mainspring GOLD PLATED cover. There is signed 8 JOURS – ANCRE – QUALITE SUPERIEURE GARANTIE. The cover is also decorated with four medals and signed BRUXELLES 1910 – MILAN 1916 – PARIS 1900 – GENEVE 1896 – CHIGAGO 1902 and SWISS MADE – 8 DAYS at the center of cover. 

Please, note, it runs for 6 days (not 8 days), considering age of this watch and takes times as long as a normal watch to wind up, so there is no saving in labour there. 

You can see from any direction the internal mechanics working as the balance wheel spins. They make an elegant statement on the wrist. Watch aficionados and laymen alike when they see a high quality skeletonized watch recognize its beauty.

It is fitted on a new Handmade of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO 24mm brown alligator style genuine leather strap with gold steel buckle that has a great vintage look to it.
