Vintage Men's Wrist Watch Classic Mens Wristwatch GLASHUTTE Uhren Movement

If you have been collecting watches for a while I think you’re going to appreciate this gentleman’s CUSTOMIZED WATCH that features ORIGINAL PORCELAIN DIAL, brand new (non GLASHUTTE) made STAINLESS STEEL CASE and original pocket watch movement with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, RAISED & SCREWED THREEFOLD in GOLD CENTER JEWEL CHATON, SCREW-FITTED END-PIECES for the ESCAPE WHEEL, SWAN NECK MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING, fully services, restored and now ready start its new life with a new owner. It was made by the WANDOLEC ART STUDIO based on movement from venerable German Watch Company of “GLASHÜTTE”. 

This timepiece features double sunken ORIGINAL handsome PORCELAIN dial is in flawless condition, considering age of this watch. It features a 60 minute checkered outer track border, black main Arabic numerals, steel Breguet-style hands and sunken sub-second dial with “sweep” steel seconds hand and 60 second outer chapter. There is signed SYSTEM GLASHÜTTE below the 12.

It is a registered design model that features a three piece STAINLESS STEEL CASE that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The case, new custom made, fantastic, build specially for this excellent GLASHÜTTE movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side.

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find a spotless, a finely and high quality the manual wind gold plated high-grade mechanism with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, RAISED & SCREWED THREEFOLD in GOLD CENTER JEWEL CHATON, SCREW-FITTED END-PIECES for the ESCAPE WHEEL, SWAN NECK MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. The movement maker is not marked but I hope another collector can identify the maker within the GLASHUTTE FACTORY as it is clearly higher grade.

To enhance the power coming through the train, the center wheel is provided with a chaton jewel, which is mounted in gold and is screwed threefold. Only jeweled holes minimize reliably the friction due to enormous driving power of the mainspring and consequently the going barrel. The screwed chaton allows the precise adjustment of the wheel and the quick change of the bearing jewel if necessary. The further wheel arbors are protected by jewels.

This beautiful wristwatch has the ORIGINAL GLASHUTTE movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch.

Vintage watches may contain replacement parts that are not from the original manufacturer if the original manufacturer no longer makes that part.

Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.

This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it!

It is fitted on a new Handmade of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO 24mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with Stainless Steel buckle that has a great vintage look to it.
