Revue Vintage Mens Wrist Watch Military Swiss Men's Wristwatches Wandolec Design

This auction is for a pristine MILITARY STYLE example of a men’s WANDOLEC ART STUDIO timepiece. This CUSTOMIZED WATCH features a MILITARY STYLE KHAKI DIAL, STAINLESS STEEL CASE and HIGH GRADE original pocket watch movement with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, SNAIL (CLAMSHELL) MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING from “REVUE WATCH COMPANY” and that dates to ca 1930’s. 

This timepiece features a new handsome KHAKI enameled MILITARY STYLE metal dial in excellent condition. This men’s wristwatch dial features a 60 minute checkered outer track border with silver five minute Arabic numerals, main silver Arabic numbering with black hour markers, steel Breguet-style hands and a recessed sub-seconds dial with 60 second outer chapter and “sweep” blue steel seconds hand. The new dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. There is signed WANDOLEC ART STUDIO below the 12 and REVUE – SWISS MADE above the 6. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece MATTE STAINLESS STEEL case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. STAINLESS STEEL case, new custom made, fantastic, build specially for this excellent REVUE movement. The gently domed MINERAL GLASSES are in excellent condition. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case is sandblasted and has a MATTE finish. 

Peeking inside via the glass lid I find a high quality, manual wind gold plated lever escapement movement with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, SNAIL (CLAMSHELL) MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING that is stamped REVUE – G.T. in oval. Also is signed the caliber number #53. 

This beautiful wristwatch has the ORIGINAL movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch, but may contain replacement parts that are not from the original manufacturer if the original manufacturer no longer makes that part. 

It is fitted on a new Handmade of THE WANDOLEC ART STUDIO 22mm Khaki genuine crocodile strap with Matte chromed steel buckle that has a great vintage look to it and total look like to case and colour of dial.

This cleaned, oiled and regulated vintage watch winds and sets very smoothly while keeping very good, accurate time.

Because of the vintage nature of the watch I cannot guarantee its absolute time keeping accuracy even if they are in good running condition and in some rare occasions may require additional adjustment.
