Offering this REGULATEUR beautiful amazing large skeletonized dress example of a men’s a CUSTOMIZED WATCH which decorated with the HIGHEST QUALITY FLORAL ENGRAVING and was made WANDOLEC ART STUDIO based on original pocket watch movement from International Watch Co – SCHAFFHAUSEN.
This gorgeous, men’s watch dial is a very handsome specimen and features a 60-minute outer track border with black enamel five minute Arabic numerals, black steel minute hand and TWO separate dials: a recessed sub-seconds dial with “sweep” black steel seconds hand and 60 second outer chapter and sub-hour dial with “sweep” black steel hour’s hand and black Arabic numerals. The new dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. There is signed IWC – SCHAFFHAUSEN near the 15 and WANDOLEC ART STUDIO above the 30.
It is a registered design model that features a three piece STAINLESS STEEL case that provides with glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. The STAINLESS STEEL case, new custom made, fantastic, matched specially for this wonderful IWC movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glasses on the front and back side.
This beautiful wristwatch has the Original magic GOLD-FILLED movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament. The bridges have in addition to extensive skeletonization have been gorgeously engraved as well.
On the front side of the movement you can see HIGHEST QUALITY FLORAL ENGRAVING. There is stamped the most famous marking the "Probus Scafusia", which today still marks the authenticity of the IWC under the dial.
On the back side you can see HIGHEST QUALITY FLORAL ENGRAVING mechanism with BLUE STEEL SCREWS, THREE RAISED & SCREWED in GOLD JEWEL SETTINGS, BI-METALLIC MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. Also is signed the movement serial number #511.696. This serial number dates this watch to 1911 as per published production numbers. The movement has Lep.c.57 –19lig.H6 caliber.
Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.
Some of the wearable parts on the movement might be replaced, and custom made to fit, since it is close to impossible to find original parts.
You can see from any direction the internal mechanics working as the balance wheel spins. They make an elegant statement on the wrist. Watch aficionados and laymen alike when they see a high quality skeletonized watch recognize its beauty.
This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it!
It is fitted on a new 22mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with chrome silver buckle that is vintage style and goes great with this wonderful watch.
