This timepiece features a new MILITARY STYLE handsome BLACK enameled STEEL dial in excellent condition, professionally restored to its original status and perfectly done, absolutely no chips of abuse. This gorgeous, men’s wristwatch features a 60 minute checkered outer track border, white enameled Arabic numerals with luminous fill, steel skeleton hands with luminous fill and a recessed sub-seconds dial with 60 second outer chapter and “sweep” steel seconds hand. There is signed International Watch Co – SCHAFFHAUSEN below the 12. 

It is a registered design model that features a three piece CHROMED STEEL case with marker on the front rotated bezel and glass cover of back lid. This watch was converted from pocket watch. CHROMED STEEL case, new custom made, fantastic, build specially for this excellent IWC movement. The lugs are in great condition while the winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly. The case has MINERAL glass on the front side. 

Peeking inside I find an ORIGINAL pocket watch, spotless manual wind gold plated high-grade mechanism with THREE FINGER BRIDGE, RAISED & SCREWED THREEFOLD in GOLD CENTER JEWEL CHATON, FOUR RAISED & SCREWED in GOLD JEWEL SETTINGS and SWAN NECK MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING. Also is signed the movement serial number #681.032, dating the watch to 1917 and H5 – +55.231. The movement is a Sav.c.66 – 19lig H5 caliber. 

This beautiful wristwatch has the pristine Original movement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch. Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time. Some of the wearable parts on the movement might be replaced, and custom made to fit, since it is close to impossible to find original parts. 

This is a “NAIL SET” watch so you don’t pull the crown out to set the time. Instead, you press the little button near the crown IN and then move the crown to set the hands, releasing the button once you’re finished. It’s easy, so don’t worry about getting the hang of it! 

It is fitted on a new 24mm red genuine leather strap with Blackening Steel buckle that is goes great with this Military Style watch.
